RINA is currently recruiting for a Electronic Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.

Mission

The role focuses on designing complex digital boards, managing high-speed signals, developing power management solutions, and ensuring signal and power integrity. You will be involved in integration and testing activities in our laboratory, as well as preparing detailed project documentation and participating in technical reviews with customers.

Key Accountabilities

Hardware Design:
- Design complex digital boards including FPGA or microcontrollers.
- Design and simulate analog to digital front-end.
- Develop impedance-controlled boards for high-speed signal management and routing.
- Create power management and distribution boards.
Signal and Power Integrity:
- Ensure design for signal integrity and power integrity.
- Conduct board and component analysis, simulation, and design.
Integration and Testing:
- Perform integration and test activities in the laboratory environment.
- Conduct thorough testing to validate design performance and reliability.
Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation including Technical Data Packages, Production Packages, Test Requirements, and Test Procedures.
- Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and customer requirements.
Customer Interaction:
- Present project technical reviews to customers, providing clear and concise explanations of design choices and progress.
- Address customer inquiries and incorporate feedback into design improvements

Education

Master’s Degree in Electronics or Electronic/TLC Engineering

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware design, preferably in aerospace applications.
Proficiency in designing digital boards with FPGA and microcontrollers.
Experience with impedance-controlled board design for high-speed signals.
Knowledge of power management and distribution board design.
Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity principles.
Proficient in hardware simulation and analysis tools.
