RINA is currently recruiting for a Electronic Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

Join our team at RINA Consulting S.p.A. in the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division as a Test System and Equipment Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Aerospace Division by utilizing your expertise to ensure the success of our projects. Your key responsibilities will involve requirements and hardware analysis, design, simulation, testing, debugging, and contributing to technical project documentation.

Key Accountabilities

As a Test System and Equipment Engineer, your key accountabilities will include critically analyzing architecture against customer requirements, translating system requirements into hardware requirements, preparing project documentation, milestone reports, and assisting with project reviews. If you possess electronic design skills, you will work on schematic and/or board design, generate schematics and PCB layouts using engineering tools. In case you have FPGA programming skills, you will code using VHDL - Verilog, create FPGA IP for code reuse, develop testing strategies, collect metrics for validation, and integrate IPs with other modules.

Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering o Engineering General

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or a related field. A Master's Degree in Engineering would be advantageous.

You should possess good electronic knowledge in one, or more, of the following:

- Master CAD tools such as Spice, Saber, Altium, and schematic tools like Cadence, Mentor.

- Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, FPGA synthesis tools (e.g. Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus),

- FPGA simulation tools (e.g. Mentor QuestaSim, ModelSim, VCS)

Familiarity with Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required along with fluency in written and spoken English.

Cross-functional experience and a wide range of skills including touch screen interfaces, communication protocols, and FPGA debugging techniques will be beneficial. In addition, you should have the ability to manage emotions, pioneer change, promote sustainable development, and make effective decisions while building a strong network and maintaining client intimacy.
