RINA is currently recruiting for a EU Research & Innovation Project Manager to join its office in Rome within the Consulting Commercial Division.
Mission
RINA is looking for an R&D Project and Proposal Manager with experience in EU and National funding programs to be including in the Funded R&I Unit to support the preparation of research programs and proposals. 3-5 years of experience are requested. Knowledge of Industry 4.0/5.0 paradigms as well as digitalisation in industry represents a preferential title.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will refer to the “EU Digital, Coal & Steal Research & Innovation” Unit and will have strong interactions with other homologous functions across the different Business Lines in RINA. Her/his main role will be the coordination of research project proposals preparation, including: the creation of project concepts and the definition of strategic objectives, impact assessment and strategic positioning of innovation, workplan definition and GANTT Chart preparation, risk analysis, strategic definition of consortia, budgeting, and above all proposal writing. The selected candidate will join a young and dynamic environment, in which R&D&I projects are in synergies with industrial objectives of the company, and the results are heavily impacting the development of the company portfolio and thus the businesses development. Activities are fast-paced, multidisciplinary and challenging, team playing is a work philosophy, control over the progress and the constant quality are fundamental enablers.
We are looking for a person with 3 - 5 years’ experience from a University degree in scientific/ technological field, with a previous experience in proposal preparation and/or participation to Research funded projects (HORIZON, RFCS, EDF, national/regional). Scientific degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering – Aeronautical - Chemical - Mechanical - Biomedical - Electronic, or Management Engineering, with solid academic background is mandatory. PhD will be considered a plus. Advanced knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point. Proficiency in English written and spoken. Availability to travel in Europe on short-mid-term assignments. Technical background in digital technologies is requested. The previous expertise in HORIZON, RFCS, EDF, National and regional R&D projects is considered as an asset, in particular for topics dealing with sectors considered as high priority for the Area where the candidate will operate, such as IT and Digital transition, AI and Robotics, Data management, New products and Process development.
