RINA is currently recruiting for a Cybersecurity System Integration Engineer to join its office in ROME within the Operating Engine Division.

Mission

The role is focused on the secure integration of infrastructure components and security solutions, with responsibility for hardening operating systems, supporting vulnerability management processes, and developing technical integrations across enterprise platforms.

Key Accountabilities

System Integration & Hardening:

Perform system integration activities across infrastructure, security platforms, and enterprise services.
Harden operating systems following security best practices and internal security standards.
Support the secure integration of Linux and Windows systems within enterprise environments, including Active Directory-connected infrastructures.
Contribute to the remediation of security findings and the continuous improvement of system security posture.

Security Platforms & Tooling:

Hands-on experience working with commercial security solutions such as Tenable, Splunk, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
Support vulnerability management activities across systems and infrastructure using commercial and open-source tools.
Support the implementation, integration, and operational configuration of security tools within the infrastructure landscape.

Automation & Integration Development:

Develop scripts and technical integrations using Python,Powershell to support automation, orchestration, and interoperability between systems and security platforms.
Contribute to operational improvements through scripting and process automation.
Support integration use cases involving data exchange, monitoring, and security workflow enablement. #LI-MM2

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems

Qualifications

Strong experience with Linux systems administration and hardening.
Good knowledge of Windows systems administration and hardening.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise identity-related integrations.
Experience in system integration across infrastructure and security components.
Experience in operating system hardening in enterprise environments.
Good knowledge of Python for developing scripts, automations, and technical integrations.
Hands-on experience working with commercial security solutions such as Tenable, Splunk, and PAM platforms.
Experience with vulnerability management activities across systems.
