RINA is currently recruiting for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join its office in ROME OR GENOA within the Operating Engine Division.
Mission
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that mission-level cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into the system baseline and maintained throughout the entire operational lifecycle for our client in the space sector.
Work Location:
The place of recruitment will be maintained in Italy and the ideal candidate will be spent a period of mission in Netherlands at least 1.5 year.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure that mission-level cybersecurity requirements are properly integrated into the system baseline and continuously maintained.
- Provide expert support across all aspects of security monitoring, Secure Development Lifecycle, and disaster recovery planning.
- Support the Agency in reviewing the industrial design of the Space Segment and Ground Segment.
- Assess system and segment cybersecurity vulnerabilities, identifying weaknesses, risks, and potential mitigation measures.
- Support the Project Cyber Board (PCB) in governance activities, risk evaluation, and coordination of security measures.
- Prepare technical reports, remediation recommendations, and improvement plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the adoption of security measures aligned with project requirements and industry best practices.
Education
Qualifications
- Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering and system security assessment.
- Deep knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Solid understanding of security monitoring, incident response, secure architecture, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycle and security-by-design principles.
- Ability to analyze complex architectures, especially mission-critical environments.
- Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong ability to work in multidisciplinary, high-criticality environments.
