RINA is currently recruiting for a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Consultant to join its office in ROME within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

We are looking for a technical professional with solid experience as System & Network Administrator, who will work as an on-field consultant at our clients, contributing to the implementation, configuration and strengthening of IT infrastructures and Cyber Defense solutions.
The activities may be carried out on-site or remotely, depending on operational needs and contractual arrangements.
The role involves operational activities on systems and networks, with a specific focus on security, hardening and integration of advanced protection technologies. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide technical advice on infrastructure security issues, such as network segmentation and secure architectures;
  • Perform hardening and secure configuration tasks on Windows (including Active Directory) and Linux systems;
  • Install, configure and manage the solutions in our cybersecurity portfolio, including:
    - Tenable (vulnerability management)
    - Splunk (SIEM & security analytics)
    - SentinelOne (EDR)
    - Netskope (CASB/SWG)
    - Other network, endpoint and cloud security tools;
  • Support vulnerability management activities, from scanning to classification and remediation;
  • Collaborate with customer technical teams to turn security needs into operational solutions;
  • Produce technical documentation and reports related to status, configurations and risks;
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to present vulnerabilities and suggest best practices.

Education

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, etc.) and LAN/WAN architectures;
  • Experience in administration and securing of Linux and Windows AD systems;
  • Competence in vulnerability management and risk classification activities;
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills;
  • Knowledge of the English language at least at B2 level, both written and spoken.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing tools;
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the main aspects of cloud security;
  • Scripting capabilities for automation and integration: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
