RINA is currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer to join its office in CATANIA within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Mission

We are currently looking for a junior cybersecurity engineer to expand our technical team.
Junior personnel could have less than 5 years of experience in the field, but a technical academic background in computer engineering or computer science is required and an experience of at least 1/2 years is appreciated.

Key Accountabilities

The persons will be in charge of:
- Carry out technical activities such as:
  o Identify security risks within organizations and complex systems/architectures;
  o Design security measures and provide recommendations or suggestions to improve security postures;
  o Verify compliance versus laws, regulations and standards pertaining security and cybersecurity;
  o Provide support to Customers in cybersecurity related activities;
  o Draft technical reports;
  o It is possible some SW Code/Script development.

Education

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Cyber Security

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, international standards and best practices on Information Security/Cybersecurity (e.g. one or more among the following ISO27k family, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIS Directives, ISA62443, Common Criteria/ISO15408, etc.);
 - Adequate knowledge of programming languages (in particular Java, C/C++/C#, VB.Net, Python), their interfaces with principal DBMS, and their development environments;
- Strong problem-solving ability;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Italian and English as a minimum;
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere;
- Availability to travel within the Country and abroad.

Desired Requirements:
- Security Certifications: e.g. ISO270001 Qualified Lead Auditor, GIAC/GICSP or ISA62443 related certifications, CEH, OSCP, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP.
Previous experiences in security certification processes on IT products (wrt Common Criteria) will be considered as a plus.
