RINA is currently recruiting for a Congo Senior Site Operations Manager to join its office in Rome within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

The Site Operations Service Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and optimising field operations for complex, large-scale projects within RINA Consulting S.p.A.'s Energy Project Solutions division. This role demands strategic oversight, operational leadership, and quality assurance expertise to ensure excellence in site supervision and customer satisfaction across multiple locations. You will spearhead initiatives that drive continuous improvement and effective contract management, whilst supporting quality and safety compliance in alignment with industry standards. #LI-MB4

Key Accountabilities

1. Leadership and Coordination:
Lead the comprehensive coordination of site supervision activities across diverse project locations, ensuring cohesion and effective communication among teams. Develop and execute strategic operational plans that align with organisational goals, fostering a culture centred on excellence and innovation.

2. Personnel Management and Development:
Provide inclusive leadership to multidisciplinary teams, encouraging high performance, collaboration, and professional growth. Mentor and coach personnel to enhance skillsets and career progression within the organisation.

3. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
Design and implement robust quality assurance frameworks that uphold service standards for site supervision. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to elevate service delivery consistently.

4. Financial Oversight and Cost Efficiency:
Direct cost optimisation strategies ensuring resource utilisation is both efficient and aligned with quality requirements. Monitor budgetary parameters closely to maintain financial discipline across projects without compromising operational goals.

5. Invoicing and Compliance Oversight:
Supervise invoicing processes to guarantee accuracy, compliance with contractual obligations, and adherence to billing procedures. Collaborate with finance teams to streamline invoicing workflows and resolve discrepancies swiftly.

6. Strategic Resource Allocation:
Manage allocation of qualified personnel and materials effectively to meet operational demands. Provide continuous training and development to strengthen team capabilities and adaptability to evolving project needs.

7. Performance Management:
Conduct regular assessments of team and individual performance, implementing tailored improvement plans to address any identified gaps. Foster a culture of accountability and excellence through transparent feedback and recognition.

8. Scheduling and Project Milestone Management:
Develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of site supervision milestones. Employ proactive scheduling techniques to mitigate potential project delays and bottlenecks.

9. Contract Governance and Profitability:
Lead efforts in contract management focusing on profitability, risk mitigation, and enhanced customer relationships. Partner with clients to understand their objectives and align service delivery accordingly.

10. Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management:
Champion high standards in customer service; address escalated issues promptly to maintain positive and enduring client partnerships. Encourage feedback loops to continuously refine client engagement strategies.

11. Data Integrity and Systems Compliance:
Ensure all operational data is accurately recorded and maintained in legacy systems, following established procedures. Promote data integrity and security in line with company policies.

12. Risk and Regulatory Compliance:
Identify potential operational and safety risks, developing comprehensive mitigation plans. Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA8000, and organisation-specific Quality, Occupational Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (QOHSES) standards. Actively support environmental and safety initiatives underpinned by global best practices.

Education

Master’s Degree in Management Engineering

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- Extensive leadership experience in site operations management overseeing multiple sites and complex projects.
- +2 years in strategic operational planning, successfully translating vision into actionable outcomes.
- Proven project management acumen with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and budgetary targets.
- Expertise in contract administration, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and cost optimisation techniques.
- Fluency in both English and Italian is required for effective communication and documentation.
- Proficiency in French will be considered a valuable asset, enhancing cross-cultural collaboration.
