Technical Management Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Technical Management Manager to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Energy Procurement Solutions Division.
Mission
The Technical Management Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of technical operations, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and supporting the successful execution of projects within RINA. #LI-KM
Key Accountabilities
1.Day-to-Day Operations Oversight
- Manage all technical aspects of daily operations within the Coordination Service Line to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
2. Technical Monitoring
- Oversee assigned responsibilities related to technical monitoring, including file audits and the review of technical reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, consistency, and reliability of technical service delivery.
3. Technical Reviews for Enquiries and Contracts
- Support both local and global teams by conducting technical reviews for client enquiries, contracts, and commercial offers.
- Ensure all technical documentation and submissions meet established quality standards prior to tender or quotation submission.
4. Training and Development
- Identify training needs for both field and office personnel through skills assessments and operational feedback.
- Coordinate and support training programs aimed at closing competency gaps and encouraging ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to the development and renewal of RINA competency onboarding examinations for field personnel.
- Provide technical input to digital improvement initiatives, including digital reporting and related systems.
5. Technical Instructions and Guidance
- Deliver clear, accurate, and actionable technical instructions, particularly related to field operations.
- Ensure all teams receive comprehensive guidance to carry out their responsibilities effectively, safely, and in line with technical standards.
6. Customer Liaison
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers regarding contract-specific and technical matters.
- Respond to technical enquiries, provide clarifications, and prepare detailed customer complaint reports when necessary, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Qualifications
- A degree in General Engineering or a lower-level qualification would be acceptable if supported by substantial work experience and demonstrated professional skills.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in inspection and field operations or related services.
- Proven expertise in national and international standards, holding at least one—preferably multiple—internationally or industry-recognized qualifications.
- Strong track record in managing technical operations and providing effective support to project teams.
