South America Legal Affairs Support Senior Advisor

RINA is currently recruiting for a South America Legal Affairs Support Senior Advisor to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Division.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the corporate legal department at the Head Office to provide legal support and guidance.
- Work with business units to identify and mitigate risks during proposal and contract review phases.
- Review, negotiate, and provide feedback on proposed contracts to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft and update contractual documents, deeds, declarations, and policies, ensuring compliance with Group regulations and applicable laws.
- Periodically update company standard form documents to align with best practices and maintain compliance with Group regulations and applicable laws.
- Support the accounting department with payment and collection matters.
- Partner with the procurement department and head office legal team to interview and select external legal counsels as needed.
- Manage corporate secretary activities, including organizing shareholders’ and board of directors’ meetings and drafting meeting minutes, in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Experience with labor and employment law is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
- Proficiency in English (will be tested).
- 5 or more years of experience in a legal advisory role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Spanish knowledge is a plus.
