RINA is currently recruiting for a Latin America Energy Contract Manager to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Energy Procurement Solutions Division.

Mission

The Contract Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization and delivery of all Contract/Project documents and must also ensure the delivery of defined inspection activities on time, within budget and with quality results. This includes engaging individual inspectors or a team, evaluating and analyzing their performance, planning and managing logistics and delivering reports to clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for controlling the monthly billing of contracts, issuing the measurement bulletin and sending it to the customer within the period established in the contract.

  • Coordinate contracts for project management services to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Issue the documents and instructions for the proper execution of the contracts from the planning to the invoicing of the services.

  • Ensure that all data entry into RINA systems is performed in accordance with the  agreed systems and procedures

  • Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA Quality Management System.

  • Support and participate in the organisation’s environmental and safety program to  conform to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements

  • Comply with HSE Policies, Procedures and Guidelines

  • Responsible for waste disposal as per the guidelines of the organization

  • Operationally coordinate projects for procurement support services, such as vendor inspection, expediting, other second and third-party activities;

  • Search and select promptly the most competent and close personnel to carry out the activity requested by the customer, being responsible for the quality execution of the service and costs;

  • Plan, schedule of workload and assign field personnel, ensuring that the project requirements are understood and met by field personnel;

  • Assist field personel in the execution of their assigned responsibilities;

  • Evaluate field personnel performance;

  • Ensure that all data entry into RINA systems is performed in accordance with the agreed systems and procedures;

  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, keeping the stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all customer needs;

  • Ensure services are supplied to customers' (both internal and external) requirements within the project quality, safety, timeliness and cost targets;

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree in Engineering (active CREA is mandatory).

  • Experience with project administration.

  • Experience with customer service, preferably similar industries.

  • Experience with Vale S/A is a plus.

  • English (will be tested).

  • Advanced knowledge of Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point...).
