RINA is currently recruiting for a Latin America Accounts Payable Accountant to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Americas Finance Division.

Mission

To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of accounts payable transactions, safeguarding the integrity of financial records and supporting the organization’s operational efficiency. Through meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication, and strong collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, the Accounts Payable Accountant contributes to reliable financial reporting, effective expense management, and the overall success of the finance function. #LI-KM

Key Accountabilities

  • Check the accuracy of invoices. 
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Booking of high volume of supplier invoices in the accounting system, with accuracy and checking for correct registration of withholding taxes.
  • Control expenses by receiving recurring payments and informing general ledger team for necessary expense accruals.
  • Handle staff reimbursements.
  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager on financial reporting.
  • Assist with other accounting duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Good knowledge of accounts payable, and general ledger.
  • Intermediary English.  
  • Soft skills: Good interpersonal communication; multi-task; hands-on; attention to details; teamwork; organization; adaptability.
