RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Developer to join its office in Brazil within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and implement new features for web-based platforms while enhancing existing ones, all while adhering to best development practices.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with an emphasis on performance optimization.
  • Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure system consistency and deliver an exceptional user experience, with a priority on usability and accessibility.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, thereby enhancing platform performance and stability.
  • Ensure continuous maintenance and updates of platforms to guarantee stability, security, and scalability.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, communicating clearly and effectively, participating in meetings, and fostering a positive and cooperative work environment. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently in the final year) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of proven experience in web development.
  • Proficiency in front-end programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Next.js.
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs and Node.js.
  • A foundational understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Microsoft DevOps, GitHub).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
