Brazil Energy Site Support Consultant

RINA is currently recruiting for a Brazil Energy Site Support Consultant to join its office in XXXX within the Plant Engineering Division.
Mission
The Site Support Consultant plays a important role within the customer organisation in managing and controlling project costs to ensure efficient budget utilization, or overseeing inspection activities throughout project lifecycles, or managing and expediting project deliverables to ensure timely completion, or managing the flow of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance, or other assigned resposibilities based on customer demand.
Key Accountabilities
1. Cost Control (if needed):
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Analyze cost variances and trends, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and update project cost forecasts.
- Prepare regular reports on project financial performance and cost trends.
2. Project Inspection Coordination (if needed):
- Develop and implement project inspection plans and schedules.
- Coordinate inspection activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess project progress.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to address quality issues.
- Maintain documentation of inspection activities and reports.
3. Project Expediting Coordination (if needed):
- Develop and implement project expediting plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor and track project milestones and deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with project teams to identify and resolve potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of expediting activities and provide regular status updates to project management.
4. Document Controll (if needed):
- Establish and maintain document control procedures.
- Manage the distribution and retrieval of project documents.
- Ensure that all documentation meets quality and regulatory standards
5. Customer Coordination:
- Serve as the main liaison between the company and customers for all quality-related matters.
- Address customer queries, concerns, and expectations related to the assigned duties
6. Quality Standards Adherence:
- Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards and procedures during the processes.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address deviations or non-compliance.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate comprehensive reports on activities, highlighting key findings, deviations, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to streamline processes and improve overall quality performance.
Education
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, cost control, or site support roles within industrial or construction environments.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis to ensure efficient budget utilization.
- Expertise in overseeing inspection activities and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and expedite project deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Proficiency in managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of handling various responsibilities based on customer demand.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
