MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

• Selection of the best technical/economical solutions and products for Piping and Piping Supports.
• Piping systems and Piping Supports overall design and design integrity, in compliance with international standards, company specifications and engineering best practices. 
• Piping Insulation and Painting overall definition/design, in compliance with international standards, company specifications and engineering best practices. 
• Effectiveness, efficiency and safety of Piping systems installation activities, including Painting and Insulation on site, including support and installation solutions as outcome from stress analysis 
• 5Piping Corrosion risk assessment and Cathodic Protection.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Piping systems design documents reviewing and approving, also in accordance with Required Documentation Data Sheets. 
• Piping systems. Pipe components, fittings and structural support components inspection, also in accordance with Inspection Data Sheets. 
• Piping system installation, with tie ins to existing plant in compliance with international standards, company specifications and engineering best practices. Selection of Welding Materials and Welding Tools in accordance to Welding Specifications. X Rays for welding at the requested percentage. 4. Corrosion protection application and cathodic protection system installation. 
• Support to Overage, Shortage and Discrepancy (OSD) activity for Piping materials, Fittings, Piping Supports Materials, Insulation Materials, Painting Materials and Consumables.
• Support in reviewing piping non-conformity

MINIMUM and MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university 
• Work experience of eight (8) years after earning the university degree 
• Already qualified to work in Italy, in on-site/field conditions. 
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports. 
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
