MATERIALS INSPECTOR ELECTRICAL & BULK (Ravenna))

#RINA is currently recruiting: Materilas Inspector Electrical & Bulk

Location: Ravenna

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES          

Main responsibilities:                

1. Materials Inspection / 2. Review and approval of inspection specifications of electrical equipment (Power Generation, incl. Turbines and High Voltage Switchgears, Power Distribution incl Transformers, all Switchgears and cables, Earthing, Lighting).  and materials, ensuring that such items meet project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability & operability.

3. Preservation Procedures Verification / 4.  Overage, Shortage and Discrepancy    

5. Overall bulk material integrity in compliance with international standards, company specifications and engineering best practices / 6.  Corrosion risk assessment     

KEY ACTIVITIES                         

1. Materials identification / 3.  Asset Integrity Management, including specific integrity management for Electrical Equipment, maintenance management/supervision for Electrical Equipment

3. Verify Application of preservation Procedures for materials / Storage conditions, greasing of steel materials, inert gas for specific equipment / 4. Checking quantities and Provide support in reviewing material non-conformity                     

5. Detail non-conformities/in case. Provide mitigation solutions. 6. Verify corrosion prevention and corrosion risk assessment application.

MINIMUM and MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS                        

1. Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. 

2.  Work experience of ten (10) years in the field of the sought discipline after earning the B.Sc Degree.

3.  Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports
