Project Controller, PMO - Cork

Exceptional Project Controller required to join RINA’s Energy capability in Ireland, accountable for scheduling and optimising resource and task allocation within a highly complex Programme. You will be a key support in the design and development of a critical Infrastructure Programme, which will deliver downstream energy to Ireland.
This role will be based in Cork, Ireland. 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Responsibilities will include:
- Project Scheduling: prepare and manage all project schedule using Primavera P6;
- Conduct float analysis to identify project schedule flexibility, critical tasks, manage risks, prioritise work and optimise resource allocation;
- Risk mitigation: conduct variance and scheduling analysis to compare planned versus actual progress and recommend corrective actions;
- Communicate project schedules to internal and external stakeholders;
- Develop resource scheduling plans;
- Anticipate project delays and develop mitigation plans to resolve issues.
- Generate schedule related reports for management and stakeholder communication;
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- At least seven years’ experience of working in programme and project environments;
- Must have at least 1 year’s experience of using scheduling software: Primavera P6;
- Experience of working in professional services, ideally Engineering and/or Construction.
- Understanding of managing project controls and project scheduling;
- Demonstrable experience of resolving project issues;
- Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and have demonstrable ability to present project updates with clarity and confidence;
- To succeed you will be responsive, concise, resilient and able to adapt;
- Must live within commutable distance of Cork; we are unable to support with relocation costs;
- Must be an Irish citizen, or have right to work in a permanent position. We are unable to sponsor work visa for this position.
