Junior Marine Technical Support Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Marine Technical Support Engineer to join its office in Piraeus within the Marine South East Europe & MEA Region Division.
Mission
A Marine Technical Engineer in RINA technical support center contribute to maintain maritime safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountabilities
1. Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to shipowners, operators, and clients regarding compliance with classification rules and regulations, as well as general marine engineering and operational issues.
2. Problem Resolution:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to troubleshoot technical issues, recommend solutions, and address any non-compliance or deficiencies identified during inspections.
3. Technical Performance Review:
- Support the maintenance of detailed KPI of surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
- Assist to prepare reports and data documentation that outline findings, recommendations, and compliance status.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work as part of a team alongside senior engineers, naval architects, and other technical professionals to deliver high-quality technical support and classification services.
5. Safety Awareness:
- Participate to the promotion of safety awareness and a culture of safe maritime operations, ensuring that all activities align with industry safety standards.
What are we looking for
- Minimum education level: Graduate in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
- Ability to manage technical conflicts and negotiations
- Strong written and oral communication skills and concise reporting ability
- Fluent in English language, both spoken and written
- Shows initiative – Taking ownership of work. Doing what is needed without being asked and following through
- Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings and appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communication
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team on tight schedules and establish and maintain cooperative working relationship
