RINA is currently recruiting for a Europe Supply Chain Buyer to join its office in Greece within the International Supply Chain Division.
Mission
The Junior Buyer will assist in the Supply Chain process by researching supplier information, evaluating potential suppliers and validating supplier orders submitted by Business Units. This role is integral to ensuring that our Supply Chain activities are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s goals and compliance requirements.

Key Accountabilities
1.Supply Chain Management within a Business ready model:
· Supporting Global Scouting & Vendor Management Department in supplier scouting and segmentation, implementing and maintaining a Vendor List of suitable suppliers; contributing to the performance management process on selected vendors;
· Maintaining operational relationships with suppliers;
· Collaborating with Business/Corporate Functions/key managers to ensure clarity of the technical specifications;
· Issuing Requests for Quotation and managing the receipt, evaluation, and comparison of bids;
· Negotiating and finalizing contracts and framework agreements to ensure favourable terms and conditions;
· Conducting final bid comparison, including evaluation of commercial conditions and vendor performance;
· Directly executing the procurement process on the ERP System and related.
2.Financial Risk Management:
· Negotiating the best payment terms applicable (maturity, break down);
· Managing the request and evaluation of bonds and guarantees to be provided by suppliers and/or subcontractors.
3.ESG Index Management:
· Ensuring compliance with the organization's sustainability goals and industry standards.
4.Data Management:
· Providing info to give insights into procurement performance and procurement recommendations including best price achieved, commercial conditions, and any other relevant information.
5.Collaboration and Communication:
· Being constantly aligned with Directors and Heads/Managers.
· Arranging for the necessary periodic reporting to Heads/Managers.
6.Continuous Improvement:
· Applying Corporate procedures aimed to guarantee common processes crossover the RINA Group companies and countries, improving the internal standardization, communication, management and company integrations.
7.Risk Mitigation:
· Highlighting and sharing information that can mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and suppliers, such as financial instability, non-performance, capabilities, non-compliance, or ethical concerns.
8.Compliance:
· Ensuring that contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards;
· Supporting audits as needed to verify supplier compliance.
Education
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Chain management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain processes and supplier evaluation techniques.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Advanced level of English and Greek
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Supply Chain software.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
