RINA is currently recruiting for a Europe Communication Manager to join its office in Piraeus within the Global Communication Division.
Mission
We are seeking a strategic and proactive Europe Communication Manager to lead corporate communication initiatives across the European region. This role is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, foster stakeholder engagement, and support business objectives across diverse markets.

Key Accountabilities
- Strategic Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the region. Develop communication strategies that connect and engage market influencers, institutional partners, and internal teams. - Market Insight and Trend Monitoring
Proactively monitor market news, industry developments, and media coverage (especially in Shippping Industry). Share relevant insights with the corporate team to inform strategic decisions and ensure timely, informed communication. - Content Development and Messaging
Oversee the creation of impactful content for internal and external audiences, including executive messaging, digital campaigns, press materials, and thought leadership assets. Ensure consistency and alignment with brand and business priorities. - Media and Market Relations
Cultivate a strong network within key European markets, including media and industry sectors such as maritime, energy, and infrastructure. Represent the company in strategic communication efforts and media interactions. - Event Planning and Coordination
Lead the planning and coordination of corporate and strategic events across multiple European regions, with particular focus on Greece. Ensure alignment with communication goals, manage stakeholder participation, and oversee content and logistics in collaboration with internal teams. - Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with departments such as HR, Institutional Relations, Procurement, and Innovation to ensure communication efforts are integrated and support broader business initiatives. - Budget Management
Manage communication budgets for the area, including planning, allocation, and reporting. Ensure cost efficiency and compliance with internal financial policies.
Education
Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate communication, preferably in a multinational or matrix organization.
- Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives across formats.
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with the Greek market and maritime industry is considered an asset.
