RINA is currently recruiting for a Europe Accounts Payable Accountant to join its office in Greece within the Regional Finance Management Division.​

Mission

The Accountat provides essential support in both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, along with contributing to general ledger activities. This role aims to develop foundational skills in accounting processes, including payment processing, customer and vendor communication, and general ledger support. The Accountant plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Booking supplier invoices in the corporate systems of RINA
  • Staff reimbursement posting and booking in the in the corporate systems of RINA
  • Posting of clients and supplier payments in the various systems of RINA
  • Supplier reports
  • check if procurement processes are followed
  • Planning of payments in collaboration with vendor management

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-related role.
  • Experience in multinational companies or shared service centers is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment cycles, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Understanding of VAT regulations and general accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle discrepancies in invoices and payments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
