RINA is currently recruiting for a Central PV Technical Senior Power Owner's Engineering Consultant to join its office in Ruel Malmaison within the Power Engineering and Renewables Division.

Mission

The Senior PV Consultant focuses on providing owner’s engineering, lender’s technical advisory, technical due diligence and project management services for Solar PV power generation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in power systems engineering, coupled with project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

Owner's Engineering (Project Management):   

 - Act as the owner’s representative in the management of solar pv power generation projects.   

 - Contribute to overseeing project development phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and   

closure.   

 - Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are  

met.   

 - Conduct site inspections to verify project progress and compliance with design specifications.   

 - Support the management of project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective   

completion.   

 - Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.   

Technical Due Diligence:   

 - Perform technical assessments of solar pv power generation projects.   

 - Review and analyze project documentation, including technical specifications, design reports, and   

performance data.   

 - Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.   

 - Contribute to preparing detailed due diligence reports and presenting findings to clients.  

Technical Advisory:   

 - Provide technical advice on the design, development, and implementation of solar pv power generation projects.   

 - Support clients in decision-making processes by offering technical insights and recommendations.   

 - Stay updated with advancements in solar pv power generation technologies and industry standards.   

Client Engagement:   

 - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored   

solutions.   

 - Facilitate meetings and workshops with clients to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.   

 - Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality deliverables.  

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Qualifications

- 8 years of experience in the solar pv power generation sector, with a focus on owner’s engineering and technical due diligence.   

- Experience in BESS or grid‑scale projects will be considered a plus but not required. 

- Solid understanding of power generation technologies, energy storage systems, industry standards, and  

regulatory requirements.   

 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.   

 - Proficiency in project management software and tools.   

 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and   

stakeholders.   

 - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  

- Proficiency in English and French language required. 

- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus but not required.  #LI-AU5
