RINA is currently recruiting for a Italy Food Voluntary Certification Decision Maker to join its office in Palermo, Rozzano or Genoa (Italy) within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that Food voluntary Certification Standards are met through diligent decision-making processes. As the Final Reviewer, you will deliver client certificates promptly, ensuring alignment with RINA's robust policies and procedures, thereby contributing to the integrity of our certification system. #LI-MR1
Key Accountabilities
Audit Adequacy Assessment:
Establish whether the audit activity adequately covers all relevant RINA management system aspects and processes, including technical documentation reviews.
Team Competence Evaluation:
Ensure that the audit activity is conducted by a team with appropriate competence, and that the certification recommendation aligns with documented audit findings.
Technical Review Management:
Manage technical review activities, ensuring their satisfactory completion before making a final decision on certificate issuance.
Prompt Certificate Delivery:
Deliver client certificates promptly while maintaining the integrity of policies and procedures.
Final Reviewer Role:
Act as the final reviewer to ensure the business complies with processes for maintaining robust certification decisions in line with accreditation requirements.
Provide effective specialist advice in a timely manner.
Reporting and Interaction:
Provide accurate reporting and maintain a high profile for the unit through effective interaction with other parts of the business.
Continuous Knowledge Update:
Keep up-to-date on certifications, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
Provide a rapid and responsive service to both internal and external clients, ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Education
Qualifications
- DM (Decision Maker) qualification for voluntary certification standards: IFS Food / BRCGS / Globalg.a.p.
- In-depth knowledge of RINA management systems, certification processes, and relevant industry standards.
- Expertise in evaluating audit adequacy and ensuring the competence of audit teams.
- Strong ability to manage technical review activities and make certification decisions based on thorough analysis of audit findings.
- Excellent understanding of accreditation requirements and the ability to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Skilled in delivering client certificates promptly, while maintaining a focus on accuracy and integrity.
- Strong communication skills for reporting, interacting with stakeholders, and providing specialist advice.
- Continuous learning mindset, staying updated on certifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to provide rapid, responsive services to ensure customer satisfaction and support business objectives.
