RINA is currently recruiting for a Quality Electrical Inspector / Work Supervisor to join its office in the Netherlands.

Mission

We are currently supporting our Client in the monitoring of the construction of a large space testing facility in Noordwijck (South Holland). The building will be one of the largest anechoic chambers in the world hosting a highly complex network of electrical and low voltage systems including MV/LV transformer room, LV power distribution, genset, UPS, general signaling alarm system, advanced fire detection and alarm, normal light, emergency light, building management system, automation control panels for HVAC / compressed air, clean earth, LPS, badge readers . The Construction Company has currently completed the structure and the façades.

We are searching for a highly experienced Quality Electrical Inspector / Work Supervisor , for a period of approximately 6 months starting gradually from May, with potential extension.

The Inspector will report to our local full time Construction Monitoring Manager and the Engineering Team working in back office.  The Inspector will closely collaborate with the Client engineers and Users.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review of electrical ITP, MS and Commissioning Plans in collaboration with RINA engineering team
  • On site inspections following the agreed ITPs and check lists
  • Monitor all QA/QC related issues (e.g. issuing and following Non Conformities or Inspection tasks) related to the electrical systems of the Buildings
  • Acceptance of equipment on site (before and after installation) against the design specifications and the datasheet
  • Check the work progress against the schedule
  • Act proactively with strong attitude to collaboration and problem solving #LI-AC2

    Contract:

  • Free Lance Contract (will enter the RINA qualified inspector network for central Europe)
  • Part Time: presence on site 1-4 days /week according to project phase

Education

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
High School Diploma/GED in General Studies/Other

Qualifications

  • Experience of Major Engineering projects with high electrical complexity
  • > 5 years’ experience on site in similar role
  • Knowledge of international electrical standards and norms
  • Fluent English
  • Living or working in South Holland region or at least within 1.5 hours drive from site
  • Competent user of modern office computer systems e.g. Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, e.g. Bachelor or Master’s Degree. High School Diploma acceptable only if highly experienced
