RINA is currently recruiting for a Lazio, Sardegna & Campania Certification Senior Lead Auditor to join its office in Napoli, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.​

Mission

The role focuses on the planning, execution, and management of audits within our certification business, leading customer engagements, ensuring effective audit processes, compliance with standards, and fostering strong client relationships. #LI-MP3

Key Accountabilities

  • Audit Program Management: Prepare, manage, and control the audit program, ensuring full alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.

  • Document Review: Conduct thorough reviews of customer management system documents—including manuals, procedures, and technical records—to verify compliance and accuracy.

  • Audit Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of audits, coordinating with stakeholders and conducting high-level interviews and system assessments.

  • Result Definition: Identify and define audit outcomes, accurately categorizing findings as non-conformities (NC) or opportunities for improvement (OFI).

  • Report Generation: Produce comprehensive audit reports detailing technical findings and strategic recommendations for certification decisions.

  • Follow-Up Management: Oversee the follow-up process by tracking non-conformities and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and ongoing compliance.

  • Technical Review & Certification: Perform rigorous technical reviews of audit files and propose formal certification decisions based on evidence-based analysis.

  • Skill Maintenance: Proactively maintain professional qualifications and stay updated on evolving industry standards and regulatory best practices.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of resources involved in the certification process, providing expert guidance and support.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain precise and updated records of customer data and critical information throughout the audit lifecycle.

  • High-Level Customer Engagement: Lead technical meetings and manage complex contracts independently, ensuring effective delivery for multiservice and multisite audits.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years in auditing, quality management systems, or certification processes (ideally within regulated industries).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to plan and lead large-scale audit activities across multiple sites and complex service portfolios.

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of audit program management, document review techniques, and management system implementation.

  • Reporting: Strong ability to generate detailed, actionable reports and manage the full cycle of corrective actions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing large-scale customer contracts and addressing complex technical concerns effectively.

  • Professionalism: Continuous commitment to maintaining industry-leading qualifications and staying ahead of regulatory changes.

  • Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Business Administration Finance Management
