Junior Smart Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer

Mission

The role focuses on contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of smart monitoring systems for various infrastructure applications. The role assists in deploying monitoring technologies, analyzing collected data, and ensuring the security and reliability of monitoring systems. #LI-MB4

Key Accountabilities

System Design and Implementation:
 - Assist in designing and implementing smart monitoring systems tailored to specific infrastructure applications.
 - Support in deploying sensors, IoT devices, and other monitoring technologies to collect relevant data.Building Information Modeling:- Create Building Information Models from existing technical drawings or point cloud data.- Develop Building Information Models up to LOD D.
Data Collection and Integration:
 - Help establish data collection protocols to gather information from diverse sources, including sensors, databases, and external systems.
 - Contribute to integrating data streams into a unified monitoring platform for comprehensive insights.
Advanced Analytics:
 - Assist in developing and applying data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from collected data.
 - Participate in implementing machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
Real-time Monitoring:
 - Support in enabling real-time monitoring of critical parameters, system performance, or environmental conditions.
 - Assist in implementing alerts and notifications for immediate response to abnormal situations.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, IT professionals, and data scientists, to understand and develop tools to process and evaluate experimental data.
 - Communicate findings and insights to relevant stakeholders.Customized Dashboards and Reports:
 - Contribute to designing and creating customized dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
 - Assist in providing stakeholders with easy-to-understand visualizations of monitored data.
Integration with Control Systems:
 - Support the integration of smart monitoring systems with control systems to enable automated responses based on monitored data.
 - Collaborate with control engineers to enhance overall system automation.
Security and Compliance:
 - Support in implementing security measures to protect monitored data from unauthorized access.
 - Assist in ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Continuous Improvement:
 - Stay informed about advancements in smart monitoring technologies and industry best practices.
 - Propose and assist in implementing improvements to monitoring systems based on feedback and evolving requirements.

Education

Qualifications

- Understanding of system design principles and implementation methodologies.
- Familiarity with smart monitoring technologies, testing, and inspections of infrastructures.
- Practical knowledge of Building Information Modeling (+1 years of experience).
- Practical knowledge in Scan-to-Bim process (from point cloud to BIM).
- Knowledge in structural design and finite element analysis.- Practical experience in construction sites or testing campaign.
- Familiarity with Python programming and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning principles.
- Proficiency in deploying sensors, IoT devices, and other monitoring technologies.
- Basic knowledge of data collection protocols and integration techniques.
- Basic understanding of data analytics techniques and tools.
- Ability to support the implementation of real-time monitoring systems for critical parameters.
- Good knowledge of English language.
