RINA is currently recruiting for a Italy System Engineering Consultant to join its office in Naples within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

RINA is looking for SYSTEM ENGINEER to join our Space&Defense team in Naples.

The mission of system engineering is to design, implement, manage, and maintain complex systems efficiently and reliably. RINA is looking for a production engineer responsible for documentation production and management.

Key Accountabilities

1. Development of Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to production processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), product specifications, and work instructions.

2. Standardization of Documentation: Ensure that technical documentation is uniform, clear, and compliant with company standards and industry regulations. This may include creating templates and guidelines for document drafting.

3. Documentation Updating: Keep technical documentation up-to-date based on changes to production processes, products, or company procedures. This also involves reviewing and approving documentation before distribution.

4. Personnel Training: Provide training on the proper use of technical documentation to production staff and other relevant departments. This may include training sessions on how to use standard operating procedures and other document resources.

5. Management of Approval Processes: Coordinate the review and approval process of technical documentation with internal stakeholders, such as the production team, quality control, engineering, and management.

6. Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to employees to resolve any issues or questions related to technical documentation. This may include resolving discrepancies or ambiguities in documents and interpreting instructions.

7. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, customer service, and marketing, to ensure consistency and accuracy of technical documentation and meet the needs of all stakeholders.

8. Evaluation of Document Processes: Continuously evaluate document management processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to optimize efficiency and quality of documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

  1. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in technologies and complex integrated systems.

  2. Practical Experience: Previous work experience in the Space & Defence field.

  3. Programming Skills: Practical knowledge of at least one programming language.

  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex problems and analytical thinking.

  5. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other team members.

  6. Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices and methodologies in the field of systems engineering (e.g. MIL-STD-498), including industry standards and security practices.
