RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Talent Recruiter to join its office in Mumbai within the Global Human Resources Division.
Mission
The Senior Recruiter, under the direction of and in collaboration with the local Head of Human Resources/Recruitment, is responsible for creating and delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting strategies.

Key Accountabilities
1. Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of long-term talent acquisition strategies in alignment with the company's business goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand organizational needs and create recruitment plans that support strategic objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, including hiring managers and department heads, to better understand their staffing needs and provide strategic recruiting solutions.
3. Project Management and recrutment process:
- Lead and manage recruitment projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Create, manage, and coordinate full cycle recruitment process for engineering, and other professional positions.
- Consult with Hiring Managers to create profiles and post requisitions.
- Use social media, association job boards, and networking to recruit candidates.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in applicant tracking system.
4. Market Intelligence:
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor practices, providing valuable insights to inform recruitment strategies.
- Attend campus recruiting events, manage internship and co-op programs, and other activities.
5. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization within the recruitment function and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes.
- Educate managers on hiring for attributes, behaviors, and technical skills.
6. Quality of Hire:
- Focus on the quality of candidates hired, ensuring they align with the company's values, culture, and long-term goals.
- Implement methodologies to measure and improve the success and retention of hires.
7. Talent Pipelining:
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles, proactively identifying and engaging with potential candidates to ensure a steady stream of qualified talent.
8. Collaboration with HR Leadership:
- Collaborate with the HR leadership team to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with broader human resources initiatives.
- Contribute to workforce planning and talent management discussions.
9. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the recruitment team and regularly report on metrics, providing insights into recruitment effectiveness.
10. Employer Branding and External Relations:
- Play a key role in enhancing the employer brand, both internally and externally.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to attract top talent and strengthen the organization's reputation.
11. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and ensure compliance in all recruitment activities.
12. Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior recruiters, sharing expertise, and mentoring them in the recruitment process.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights into industry trends, best practices, and effective recruiting strategies.
Education
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of recruitment experience with engineering, consulting or professional services field strongly preferred
- Ability to strategically craft a compelling employee value proposition tailored to specific candidates
- Competent in situational agility such that adjusts approach based on the situation and learns from experiences to pivot accordingly in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with people of varying backgrounds
- Proven ability to work in a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive team environment
- Strong knowledge of all relevant HR laws and regulatory requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
