RINA is currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join its office in Mumbai within the International Supply Chain Division.

Mission

A Buyer executes the sourcing and supply chain activities. The Buyer manages the scouting of vendors, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on regulatory aspects, quality and ESG principles, according to Category Manager / Regional Procurement Head indications on Supply Chain strategies.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

  • At least 4/5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with strong focus on negotiations activities on large scale.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Indian market and Indian vendor base.

Essential skills

  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Talent in negotiation and networking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math and logic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. It is required a strong cooperation both with the International Procurement Team both with the internal clients (Business Lines).
  • Excellent report writing, communication and IT skills.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office (especially excel. Word and power point) and accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software.
