RINA is supporting a lead Oil Company for a new upstream, offshore EPC project in Africa and we are looking for:
SUBSEA UMBILICALS ENGINEER
The engineer will work on a resident base at Vendor’s premises acting as client’s representative.
He will be responsible for monitoring design integrity, progress of detailed engineering issued by subcontractor and quality of deliverables acting as interface with the Client.
Following he will witness the progress of fabrication in terms of quality, time and adherence to approved design and manufacturing readiness until completion and FAT.
A possible continuation of the role in Africa to support installation and commissioning, also offshore, is possible and will be evaluated after fabrication completion.
The position will develop on a resident basis at vendor’s production facility in Alabama.
The roles requires 10-15 years’ experience in the delivery of offshore EPC projects, from engineering phase to manufacturing and installation of umbilicals, flexible risers, flowlines, control systems, installation and commissioning.
The assignment at Vendor’s premises is expected to start in April 2026 and will end in January 2028.
