EDUCATION



- University Degree in technical field 

 


PROFESSIONAL SKILLS and CERTIFICATIONS

 


- Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish) 
including technical dictionary will be a plus.
- Must be experienced in the use of Primavera Project Planner.
- Must be familiar with planning and scheduling of activities for all aspects of EPCC of major oil / gas 
plants.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret contract terms, conditions and specifications, knowledge of 
quality control and assurance functions, methods of progress measurements and verification.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE – YEARS OF EXPERIENCE


- At least more than 10 year experience in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or power generation industries 
EPC contracts in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating 
equipment, steel structures etc.

 


WORK EXPERIENCE – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 


The Project Planner is responsible for:
- Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project 
stage.
- Drawing plans using specialised design software packages.
- Ensuring plans meet the Customer’s specifications.
- Making estimations for timescales and costs.
- Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
- Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site worker and other professionals.
- Be accountable for the control and supervision, monitoring and guidance of the day-to-day activities of 
the Planning team.
- Supervising, delivering a resourced robust baseline project schedules (team size dependent).
- Overseeing the coordination and production of all project plans and associated documents (S curves, 
Histograms, tabulated man-hour / progress data).
- Providing the Management Team with the relevant contract information.
- Ensuring that all services and deliverables conform to Company, client and Project QA Plan, policies, 
requirements and standards.
- Promoting good working relations within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and 
Customer representatives.
- Ensuring all planning work is carried out in compliance with Corporate and Project specific procedures
