Rina is currently recruiting, for an international project, a junior Process Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Process Engineer is responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining effective team working with project contractors to ensure the process piping installation work is executed in accordance with Customer project procedures and to the agreed schedule.
- Providing process piping engineering expertise during completions, pre-commissioning and commissioning work undertaken by Contractor preparing systems for hand-over.
- As a supervisor within the project team, managing and advising on all process piping installation activities and initiatives, including integrated planning, scheduling & reporting.
- Providing opportunities with regard to identification of construction conflicts and issues with respect to resources and change management.
- Liaising with site engineers to ensure installation is coordinated and recorded as per plans and ensure that efficient and effective communications are maintained between contractors and Customer, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met.
- Ensuring necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified actions completed.
- Ensuring all process related works for the facilities are in accordance with project specifications and making sure they are maintained in order to safeguard technical integrity.
- Participating in technical reviews for engineering works.
- Providing commissioning team with technology requirements for engineering applications.
- Providing technical support to the project on commissioning, operating procedures and troubleshooting.
- Applying engineering technical expertise related to design, specification and operation of facilities.
- Conducting design reviews for commissioning and start-up requirements.
- Contributing to Commissioning support for Start-up.
- Participating in and assisting with the co-ordination of the Project’s performance test(s).
- Reviewing commissioning deliverables issued by Contractors and Suppliers.
- Contributing to the Commissioning Team’s improvement process and Close-Out report.
- Maintaining good relations with other disciplines and with the Customer at all times.
- Verifying and accepting of mechanical completion packages in line with the agreed system handover schedule.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS and CERTIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (both English and Italian) including technical dictionary will be a plus.
- Good knowledge in the use of PC including software and applications (e.g. Windows, Office)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of the International Quality Standards and applicable design and construction norms and standards.
- Knowledge and experience of the major standards applied to Oil &Gas projects (e.g. EEMUA, API, ISO EN, ASME, AWS, Customer Standards, etc.);
- Ability to work in adverse setting and climatic conditions.
- Ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them.
- Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by Customers.
- Ability to communicate fluently with the Customers and should possess good Customer service skills.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, patient and should be a critical thinker.
- Good logical skills and ability to prioritize tasks depending upon the emergency situations
WORK EXPERIENCE – YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
At least more than 2 year experience as Process Engineer in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures etc
EDUCATION
- University graduated in scientific discipline (e.g. mechanical, electrical, chemical engineer)
- Technical High School Diploma
