RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine Data Analyst to join its office in Cyprus within the Marine Digital Solutions Division.

Mission

The primary responsibility of a Software Business Analyst is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, while also facilitating effective communication between business and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.Their aim is to collect and document  customer requirements, collaborating with software developers, and managing the testing and implementation phases of new software at customer premises. They support also the project management of the software project.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Naval Engineering

Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out data analysis related to ship performance;
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the Customers to deploy RINA digital solutions;
  • Help to convert customer needs in software specifications;
  • Contribute to design, develop and test new maritime digital solutions;
  • Promote RINA Marine digital solutions with demo to potential Customers, workshops, webinars, conferences, exhibitions.

Qualifications

  • Awareness of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excel data analysis skills
  • 2-3 years of experience as data analyst by a shipowner
  • Experience working within project teams and understanding project management concepts.
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
  • Experience in translating business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with various technologies, programming languages, and software architectures.
  • Familiarity with tools commonly used in business analysis, such as requirements management tools, collaboration tools, and diagramming software.
