Logistic Coordinator and Superintendent (Mozambique)

RINA is currently seeking an experienced Logistic Coordinator & Superintendent for a major Oil & Gas project. The role involves managing and overseeing all logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow, timely delivery, and full alignment with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in complex international projects and a hands-on approach to logistics coordination and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and material handling
• Supervise import/export operations and customs clearance processes
• Manage the flow of materials to site (onshore/offshore)
• Interface with procurement, expediting, warehouse, and construction teams
• Monitor delivery schedules in line with project timelines
• Oversee storage, handling, and inventory management activities
• Manage logistics vendors, freight forwarders, and contractors
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and procedures
• Prepare logistics reports, KPIs, and forecasts
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in logistics roles within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
• Proven experience as Logistic Coordinator / Supervisor / Superintendent
• Solid knowledge of international supply chain and customs regulations
• Experience working on large-scale projects (plant construction, pipelines, offshore, etc.)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments
• Proficiency with MS Office and logistics/ERP systems
