RINA is currently recruiting for a Spain Certification Business Developer to join its office in Madrid within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.

Mission

We are looking for a Business Development with experience in certification bodies, whose main objective will be to drive commercial growth by acquiring and managing clients in the field of management systems certification, with a strong focus on ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, among others). The selected candidate will be responsible for actively developing business opportunities, identifying new leads, and managing the full sales cycle for certification services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities related to ISO standards (especially ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Actively develop and manage a client portfolio within management systems certification services.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, client engagement, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships to ensure customer retention.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the certification sector. #LI-AU5

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Environmental Science

Qualifications

  • Mandatory experience (1–3 years) in commercial roles within certification bodies, inspection companies, or ISO-related services.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and results-oriented mindset.
