RINA is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join its office in Macaé, RJ within the Plant Engineering Division.
Mission
Provide tools that ensure the safety, reliability, and operational efficiency of subsea systems through the integration and continuous maintenance of databases, computer systems, and applications, with a focus on operational activities.

Key Accountabilities
- Manage, structure, update, and maintain databases and information from multiple corporate systems, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and quality.
- Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders and translate business needs into Business Intelligence and analytical solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integration, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain databases containing historical records of services, inspections, deviations, non-conformities, engineering analyses, and other operational information, providing user-friendly and intuitive interfaces.
- Define, calculate, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational and management metrics, as well as prepare estimates, forecasts, and trend analyses.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain dashboards, management reports, and data visualization solutions, ensuring their availability, reliability, and alignment with business requirements.
- Perform statistical and functional data analyses to identify deviations, improvement opportunities, risks, and potential performance gains.
- Prepare technical and executive reports, management presentations, and analytical studies to support decision-making at different organizational levels.
- Participate in the governance of business processes and performance indicators by monitoring action plans, consolidating information, and evaluating results.
- Lead and facilitate follow-up meetings, critical review sessions, and results presentations, documenting action items and ensuring alignment among stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to the definition, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of analytical solutions, business processes, and data management tools.
- Execute configuration management, system validation, testing, version control, and production deployment activities.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve inconsistencies, system issues, and opportunities for improvement in applications, business processes, and databases.
- Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and user manuals for the tools and solutions developed.
- Provide technical and functional support to users and clients, ensuring the effective use of solutions and promoting a data-driven culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvement and contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives;
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid – Macaé, Brazil - 40 hours per week
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in database development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present results clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to technical excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Power BI and programming languages such as VBA, SQL, and Python.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
