RINA is currently recruiting for a Brazil Energy Site Engineer to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Plant Engineering Division.

Key Accountabilities

Assessment of the structural integrity of subsea risers using numerical models based on the finite element method;
Preparation of technical reports following Petrobras specifications for top tension, structural, and fatigue analyses of flexible pipes;
Participation in technical meetings, providing recommendations and solutions based on applicable technical standards. #LI-KM

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering with an active CREA license.
Experience in subsea projects with pipelines.
Good experience with OrcaFlex software.
Experience with dynamic analysis of flexible pipes.
Fluent or advanced English level (weekly meetings in English).
Desirable: knowledge of Python programming.
Desirable: experience with subsea installation feasibility (examples: direct vertical connection, connection using diverless tool, and direct horizontal connection).
Desirable: experience with mooring and hydrodynamic analysis.
