RINA is seeking qualified Turnaround Execution Coordinator for a project in Angola
Locations: Luanda office, with possible trips offshore as required
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Job Summary
The Turnaround Execution Coordinator provides direction and targets for Azule work teams and is responsible for safety, schedule, cost, work quality and achieving unit performance objectives. Ensures leadership and technical expertise to the TAR Team for Non-cycle ending events as well as the execution stage of various assigned outages. This team is composed of maintenance supervisors, contract job representatives, execution contractors as well as supporting disciplines across all 5 stages of the TAR.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading the Turnaround Common Practice (TCP) process for assigned events, communicating and tracking teams progress against Asset milestones to ensure safety and timely execution.
- Accountable for the execution oversight of Block-15/06 non-cycling ending outages.
- Ensure the turnaround scope meets asset requirements and Azule´s business plan objectives
- Ensure compliance with turnaround management procedure in terms of planning, scheduling, audits and workshops whilst ensuring that individual turnaround activities are adequately risk assessed, free of conflict and aligned to asset objectives.
- Accountable for the timely preparation and execution of assigned events.
- Own the turnaround budget providing input to the business planning process and cost forecasting throughout the full turnaround cycle.
- Builds close, effective working relationships with functional teams in such areas as: Offshore operations, Onshore Asset Team, Asset Integrity, Facilities Project Engineering, Subsea, Wells etc.
- Accountable for the creation, review and updates to the TAR Risk Register & Action Item Logs to ensure proper due dates and mitigation plans.
- Provide immediate supervision, guidance and work direction for Turnaround Team members including staff, contractors and support vendors during all turnaround phases.
- Appropriately manage support vendors ensuring resources are available to deliver TAR objectives.
- Ensures maximum system availability and seamless, leak free return to normal operation.
- Work with functional groups to identify and remove barriers to safe and effective execution of plans.
- Accountable for communication with TAR Management and Area stakeholders on status, risks and challenges.
- Mobilize offshore during the execution phase to lead delivery of the Turnaround.
- Ensure full communication of progress reporting to all stakeholders.
- Integrate into the Offshore Team to achieve turnaround objectives.

Essential experience and skills & competencies
- Experience in petrochemical turnarounds industry.
- Demonstrated maintenance, construction or operational experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and execution of TAR, Projects or significant Maintenance events.
- Capable of influencing across disciplines and contractors.
- Track record in project management skills.
- Experienced in contractor management and performance.
- Understands fundamental estimating and budget control
- Demonstrated knowledge of offshore plant and systems.
- Understanding of offshore work practices and engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tactical planning. Able to interpret strategic business plans and translate into tactical activities and objectives.
- Proactive approach to HES management. Promotes a high level of awareness in self and others of relevant procedure requirements.
- Must have strong understanding of implementing and managing HES.
- Proficient in use of CMMS systems (BASSNET, AMOS, SAP).
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Technical proficiency in standard IT programs.
Working Conditions
- 3-months / 1-month rotation in country as per COMPANY guidelines
- Regular offshore trips required as required
- Regular office hours
