Statutory Certification Project Coordinator (Angola)

The Statutory Certification Project Coordinator will be required to work closely with the Class and Administration workstreams under the leadership of the Project General Manager to:

• Coordinate requirements of the various statutory certificates and pull together documentation packages from both the execution (Class) and Administration teams and demonstrate conformance to the various Statutory Certificates
• Work with the Project General Manager and Project SME to ensure all Statutory Certification requirements are met
• Coordinate and engage with the Angolan Marine Authorities and negotiate Statutory Certification requirements with the AMN to allow for Certificates to be issued by Class on behalf of the Angolan Authorities
• Plan and coordinate any inspections or visits required by the AMN offshore
  
   

The Statutory Certification project coordinator should:

• Be experienced in project management and execution
• Be able to work without direction
• Some marine knowledge/experience is desirable but not essential
• Be fluent in Portuguese
• Be experienced in working with the Angolan Authorities (AMN, MINREMPET, ANPG etc.)
• Be able to travel offshore (offshore medical, BOSIET or BOPER, Seamans Book)
