Conceptual Studies Engineer

RINA is seeking qualified Conceptual Studies Engineer
Carrying out all activities related to the development of Conceptual Studies, including Cost Estimates where required, in accordance with the Company’s rules and procedures, ensuring their quality, time and cost efficiency, and aligned with received SoW/BoD.
Start Date: ASAP
Working Location: Luanda, Angola (Resident)
Working days: The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday (8 hours), half-day Saturday.
Job description :
- Designing equipment to extract oil and gas in the most profitable way
- Designing equipment from drilling and reservoir data in order to recover the oil and gas at the surface
- Performing a technical review of reservoirs and potential drilling sites
- Designing oilfield equipment, which can be installed then operated, and maintained properly
- FPSO knowledge is a plus (type of FPSO, type of mooring, topsides technologies, offloading systems, etc..
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Working with geoscientists and other specialists to understand the geological formation and properties of the soil for the subsea system information
- Deliver conceptual studies up to inputs for commercial/benefits calculations
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an Oil and Gas Engineer or similar role in the Petroleum Industry (5-10years). FLEXIBLE
- Basic of hydraulics and flow assurance.
- Basic of pipeline analysis
- Basic of SPS (Subsea Production System)
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, FieldTwin or similar.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
- BS degree in Petroleum Engineering or relevant field.
