RINA is currently recruiting for a Process & Techonology Innovation Consulting Engineering Project Manager to join its office in Rome, Lecce, Genoa, La Spezia, Rozzano (Italy) within the Management Consulting Division.

Mission

The Project Manager in this role takes on a leadership position, contributing strategic insights and overseeingthe successful execution of projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope,and budget. It is a pivotal role in client relationships, team development, and the implementation of impactfulsolutions in the areas of process efficiency, technology adoption and decarbonisation, providing strategic consultancy activities in several sectors (e.g., manufacturing, O&G, energy, public entities). #LI-VB1 

Key Accountabilities

  • Project management for industrial customers, ensuring the completion of deliverables within defined deadlines, scope, and budget

  • Management of customer relationships and identification of business opportunities

  • Internal coordination of techno-economic proposal preparation

  • Monitoring of tenders, grants, and incentives

  • Management of projects involving engineering and technical activities, such as technological scenario analysis to identify state-of-the-art technologies and related suppliers for each project-specific application (e.g., industrial technologies, decarbonisation, sustainability, carbon capture, digitalization, process optimisation, etc.)

  • Staying updated and capable of investigating innovative technology trends and key players

  • Preparation of technical documentation for private entities aiming to access grants and incentives (e.g., PNRR, EU funds, state aid, etc.)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

  • Experience in an engineering or technical role within a project setting, ideally with exposure to cross-functional teamwork. Alternatively, experience in an associate project management role

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean), with the ability to tailor approaches based on project requirements

  • Ability to manage schedules, resources, and budgets effectively

  • In-depth understanding of project lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, risk management, quality control, and change management

  • Good understanding of industry-specific standards, practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., IT, construction, engineering, or other relevant sectors)

  • Proficiency in contract management, client relations, and vendor coordination

  • Proficiency in Italian and a good working knowledge of English are essential
