RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Controller to join its office in La Spezia within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

We are looking for a skilled Project Controller to support Project Management (PM) and Business & Performance Management (B&PM) activities for an aerospace/defence program. The role involves financial tracking, risk management, and reporting for key contracts. The selected candidate will be based in La Spezia, Italy, with possible short-term travel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor project costs, analyze financial deviations, and provide cost control reports.
  • Track contractual deliveries and ensure compliance with project schedules.
  • Support the preparation of sector reviews and contribute to key business insights.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide structured reporting.
  • Maintain and update the project risk register.
  • Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Work Load Forecast (WLF) reports in support of B&PM.
  • Plan and track project activities using the corporate project management tool.
  • Assist in the preparation and update of Task Directives (TDs) to align commitments across functions. #LI-SC1

Education

Master’s Degree in Management Engineering

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cost controlling and project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, ARM, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
  • Experience in tracking project performance, financial forecasting, and risk management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured environment, adhering to compliance and security requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments if required.
