Lifting Specialist - Malaysia & Brunei

We are expanding our talent pipeline for future projects in Malaysia & Brunei and are looking for experienced Lifting Specialist to be considered for future opportunities. 

This role plays a key part in ensuring that all lifting and transportation activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international standards, working closely with construction, engineering, and HSE teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Review and oversee contractor lifting plans in compliance with API, OSHA, LOLER, and company standards
• Conduct pre‑lift inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings
• Ensure all lifting equipment is certified, inspected, and properly maintained
• Monitor HSSE conditions and actively promote an Incident / Injury Free (IIF) culture
• Participate in safety programs and investigate lifting‑related incidents
• Provide training and competency verification for lifting personnel

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Petroleum Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
• Certified Lifting Specialist (LEEA, OPITO, LOLER, or equivalent)
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil & gas lifting operations
• Strong knowledge of crane operations, SPMTs, and advanced lifting techniques
