RINA is expanding our talent pool for upcoming opportunities supporting a Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Project in Malaysia.

We are currently interested in connecting with experienced Civil Engineers and Civil Drafters who have a strong background in industrial, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects. This opportunity is currently in the resource planning stage, and suitable candidates may be considered for upcoming short-term project assignments.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Plaza Conlay)
Employment Type: Freelance/Contract (Minimum 3 months, with possible extension)
Industry: CCS / Energy 

Positions of Interest

• Civil Engineer
• Civil Drafter

Key Requirements

• Experience in Civil & Structural Engineering design and drafting.
• Experience in FEED, Detailed Design, EPC, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Malaysian regulations, authority requirements, and applicable design standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in industrial, oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Typical Scope of Work

• Structural plans, sections, and details for piperacks and pipe bridges.
• Steel and concrete structure drawings.
• Piling and foundation layout plans.
• Foundation plans, sections, and details.
• Material Take-Off (MTO) preparation.
• Civil works quantity estimation and cost estimation.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Preparation of engineering deliverables in accordance with project requirements and standards.
