Indonesia Regional HSE Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Indonesia Regional HSE Manager to join its office in Jakarta, Indonesia within the RINA Services QOHSE Division.

Mission

The HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Regional  Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Group’s HSSE strategies and ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental standards within their assigned region. This role involves collaborating with the Global HSSE Management Director, providing support to operative companies, and maintaining regional HSSE procedures. The HSSE Regional  Manager will also supervise regional security services and assist in managing security risks and issues.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy Implementation:
- Support the Group’s strategy development concerning environment, health, safety, and security.
- Execute the implementation of these strategies following headquarters' procedures.
- Monitor the timely execution of corrective and preventive actions from internal and external audits.
Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with the HSSE Management Director to support operative companies with HSE issues.
- Assist in the implementation of the ISO45001 and ISO14001 Management System plans.
- Collaborate with local Operational HSSE Management / Point of Contact
Procedure Compliance:
- Ensure the correct application of procedures, instructions, and guidelines on HSE and travel risk management.
- Maintain health, safety, security, and environmental procedures within legal guidelines and standards for RINA S.p.A in the region.
Security Management:
- Supervise regional security services, including surveillance operations.
- Support businesses in assessing and managing security risks and issues.
- Conduct site security assessments and recommend protective measures for assets and personnel.
Training, Awareness and Communication:
- Conduct HSSE training sessions for regional employees.
- Promote a positive HSSE culture and improve HSSE awareness within the region.
- Preparation and dissemination of HSE awareness initiatives (e.g. HSSE Newsletter and Safety Moments).
- Maintenance and development of HSE HIVE Intranet page, and content.
- Ensure that required HSE training is conducted effectively.
Incident Management:
- Respond to and investigate HSSE incidents and accidents in the region in collaboration with operational HSE.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSSE activities and incidents.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Global HSSE Management Director.
Audits:
 - Conduct or participate in internal HSE audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
 - Participate in external HSE audits and address any findings.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving HSSE practices and processes within the region.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance regional HSSE performance.

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Other

Qualifications

 - Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSSE roles, preferably within a regional or multinational context.
- Experience with ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Strong knowledge of regional HSSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good verbal and written English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office and HSE management software applications.
