Mission

The Tender Manager plays a critical role in spearheading tender processes to secure projects and contracts in the transportation sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of winning proposals, adhering to technical specifications and budget constraints, and fostering strong relationships with clients to drive business growth and enhance our position in the market.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the management of tender processes within the transport and mobility sector, including follow-up on opportunities and public tenders.
• Develop and deliver winning proposals that meet client requirements, ensuring accuracy in scope, commitments, and budget constraints.
• Coordinate prerendering activities, engaging with internal stakeholders to identify customer needs and promote our services effectively.
• Manage client accounts and propose tailored solutions to address their challenges effectively.
• Propose the offered solution, including performing detailed requirement capture, issuing contract data requirements lists, and preparing compliance matrices.
• Produce proposals and business case documentation, including technical descriptions, project schedules, price lists, and administrative documentation.
• Maintain meticulous records of all tender-related documentation and ensure traceability throughout the process.
• Participate in contract negotiations and attend client meetings to address queries and finalize agreements.
• Verify the feasibility of proposed solutions and assess their alignment with client expectations and project objectives.

What are we looking for

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tender/Bid Management, with focus on costing, planning & risk management in Railway industry
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation systems and services, particularly within the railway industry.
• Strong understanding of financial (rules to build consolidated costs, cash curve, hedging), contractual (bonds & guarantees), and legal aspects (obligations, penalties) related to tender management and project execution.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external clients.
• Proven negotiation skills and a customer-oriented approach to business development. #LI-DP1
