The Türkiye Machinery Plan Approval Engineer plays a pivotal role within RINA, a leading provider of classification, certification, and consulting services in the marine industry. You will be instrumental in ensuring the compliance and safety of marine designs and machinery plans, contributing to our commitment to excellence and sustainability in marine operations.

About the Role:
As a Türkiye Machinery Plan Approval Engineer, you will utilise your engineering expertise to assess and approve machinery plans to ensure they meet national and international regulations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing technical documentation, providing insightful feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance project success. This dynamic role demands a thorough understanding of marine engineering principles, along with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve machinery plans in accordance with classification society rules and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed assessments and analyses of technical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to recommend improvements and modifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable codes and regulations, international standards, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Document and report on the approval process and maintain detailed records of all assessments.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

 

About You:
You should possess a relevant engineering degree (BSc or equivalent) and have prior experience in marine engineering or a related field. Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are vital for success in this role. You should be adept at working collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to manage your own workload autonomously.
