RINA is currently recruiting for a Head of Türkiye I&M Project Management to join its office in Istanbul within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
The Head of I&M Turkey Engineering Project Management will be responsible for leading a diverse team of Project Managers with varying levels of seniority, ensuring the successful execution and profitability of engineering projects. The role involves full accountability for the business of RINA Consulting in Turkey, acting as the primary interface with clients, and driving strategic growth within the region.
Key Accountabilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and coach a team of project managers, ensuring performance alignment, individual development and growth, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Project Delivery Oversight:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects to ensure they meet customer and internal expectations.
Monitor project KPIs such as timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Business Accountability:
Oversee and drive the business operations of RINA Consulting in Turkey, ensuring strategic objectives and financial targets are met.
Profit & Loss Responsibility:
Drive the management of the financial performance of projects, ensuring profitability, cost control, and budget adherence.
Operational Efficiency:
Optimize project workflows and tools to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
Promote the adoption of standardized project management methodologies across the team.
Client Collaboration:
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Resolve escalated project-related issues promptly and professionally.
Performance Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on project progress, resource utilization, and team performance to senior management.
- Implement and monitor corrective actions to address any project deviations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process improvement opportunities and best practices to enhance project delivery outcomes.
- Drive innovation and ensure the adoption of lessons learned across projects.
Education
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within engineering, infrastructure, or technical fields.
- At least 5 years of experience leading project teams.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
