RINA is currently recruiting for a North Asia Tax Specialist to join its office in HK within the Regional Finance Management Division.

Mission

The Tax Specialist is responsible for overseeing the fiscal operations of the company, including fiscal planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, and reporting. This role ensures that the organization's fiscal processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Accountabilities

Assist in tax filing of various tax jurisdictions (Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Assist in calculations of tax provisions and prepare journal entries for tax accountsIssue Taiwan VAT invoices
Address tax audits and tax queries, interacting with tax authority of relevant tax jurisdictions
Coordinate with company secretary and tax representatives for statutory filings and compliance

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management or Economics

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting and tax regulations

.• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

.• Meticulous, ethical, respectful, open‑minded, and positive attitude

.• Able to work independently, responsibly, and handle multiple tasks with strong problem‑solving skills.
