RINA is currently recruiting for a Deputy Technical Audit Team Manager to join its office in Israel within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

The candidate will be involved in the Program Assurance Office of the Tel Aviv Mass Transit. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience in Metro projects and specific experience in the Transportation Engineering of Metro and LRT Systems.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Being the first interface with the Client, PMC, Contractor, each E&M / CW responsible, and other relevant entities;
  • Ensuring smooth and effective management of the RINA Teams and Technical Delivery, considering both technical and coordination aspects;
  • Coordinating with the Staff of the Client/PMC/General Contractor that is assigned to the engineering activities;
  • Coordinating the Design Review and Advisory Services;
  • Assess clients’ needs and translate them into successful actions related to designs, equipment, or new systems under the supervision of a TAT. From the initial concept stage through to completion, they manage project timelines and oversee all developments;
  • Developing project schedules and deliverable timelines;
  • Coordinating and communicating with projects group as needed on major projects in the Business Units;
  • Ensuring the creation of documents and reports that detail their assessments, any fact-finding survey data acquired, the project’s inception, and concept planning;
  • Monitoring engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule;
  • Plan technical solution: engineering consultants find unique ways to resolve technical issues without affecting the overall completion deadline or affecting the involvement from other departments or external companies;
  • Be aware and understand the Quality Policy;
  • Ensuring that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS. Be aware of the quality of her/his own work and its impact on service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role;
  • Able to discuss and define client requirements; reflecting a clear understanding in well-written technical reports and proposals;
  • Actively supporting business development activities inside the project, building relationships with clients and helping to generate new business;
  • Responsible for the production and performance of assigned tasks and activities, under the responsibility of the TAT;
  • Interact with clients and colleagues to achieve project objectives using appropriate technical judgment.
     

What are we looking for

 

  • Education : Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent;
  • At least 10 years of practical experience as an Engineering;
  • At least 5 years experience in managing the design and construction phases in Rail Transit projects;
  • The Deputy Technical Auditing Manager has managed, for at least three (3) consecutive years, civil engineering field and/or System Engineering
  • Building and Developing Professional/Technical Knowledge: Shape strategy for long-term capability at RINA;

  • Communication and Influence: Communicate effectively and influence small groups of people;
  • Customer/Client Service: Respond appropriately;

  • Teamwork and Leadership: Leading a team/project;
  • Experience in Project Management, PM certification is a plus;
  • Experience in project QA/QC management is a plus;
  • Fluent English.
